Patrick Lucaci, D.D.S., M.D.
Dr. Patrick Lucaci was born and raised in Kampala, Uganda. He is the eldest of five children.
In 1999, he earned his Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree from Makerere University in Uganda, with credits from Queens University in Belfast and the Karolinski Institute in Stockholm, Sweden. After earning his Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Missouri – Kansas City in 2009, Dr. Lucaci continued on to earn his medical degree from the University of Missouri School of Medicine in 2012. He then returned to UMKC and completed a year of General Surgery Residency in 2013 and earned his certificate in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery from UMKC School of Medicine in 2015. He has proudly served Salina, KS and the surronding areas since September of 2015.
Dr. Lucaci is a proud member of the American Dental Association, the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the Kansas Dental Association, and the Missouri Dental Association. Dr. Lucaci is certified in ACLS, BLS, PALS, and ATLS.
Dr. Lucaci became an Oral Surgeon because it’s a cross between medical and dental. His enjoyment comes from helping his patients achieve the dental health that they need and deserve.
In his spare time, Dr. Lucaci enjoys golfing and traveling.

Owen Lonergan, M.P.H., D.M.D., M.D.
Dr. Owen Lonergan grew up in Texas where he completed high school excelling in sports as a soccer player and captain of his State Championship Wrestling team, where he was state runner-up in the 135 pound weight class. After high school, Dr. Lonergan pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in biology at the University of California, San Diego, where he learned to surf, played intramural soccer and started a wrestling club. After his time in San Diego Dr. Lonergan attended the Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health and the Arizona School of Health Sciences, in Phoenix Arizona where he received his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree and a Masters in Public Health (MPH) concurrently in 2010.
Following graduation from dental school, Dr. Lonergan pursued a residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. During his residency, he earned a Doctor in Medicine (MD) degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City College of Medicine in 2014, and completed a year of general surgery in 2015. In 2017 he received his Certification in Oral Surgery from the UMKC Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Residency.
After residency training, Dr. Lonergan served as a clinical faculty member in the oral surgery department for the UMKC School of Dentistry where he served as a clinical professor as well as taught several courses in oral surgery to the dental students. He also serves as consultant for oral surgery curriculum development for other educational programs.
Dr. Lonergan is married and resides in Kansas City where he and his wife are raising their lovely daughter.
SKILLS AND SPECIALTIES
Dr. Lonergan is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, and has his certifications in ACLS and BLS. He is currently a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and the Greater Kansas City Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.
